Home to the most famous parties in New York, including the circuit party "Alegria" and Victor Calderone’s fierce after-hours "Evolve", Studio is the ultimate NYC mega club. On the eve of national holidays takes place the famous Alegria party, a huge circuit party with a worldwide reputation, drawing partygoers from across the country and around the world. It is one of the most spectacular and monumental event of the gay party circuit, bringing together the edgy and underground New York club vibe, with some Latin flavor courtesy of Brazilian promoter Ric Sena. Always high on the production value, Alegria features the relentless tribal mix of resident DJ Abel and amazing visuals and props specially built for the theme of the night. The party is a true marathon of clubbing which often lasts well until the following afternoon. The crowd is an eclectic mix of ethnicities and nationalities, with a sizeable portion made of the shirtless and muscle bound type of men - which sometimes make the event look somehow like a bodybuilding convention.
