Gym Sportsbar

The American sports bar is a cultural institution where men come to down pints of beers while watching sport events on TV screens and chat with other fellows about athletic achievements and tits and ass. Gym Sportsbar delivers just that, with a gay twist! The décor is classic and timeless, with sturdy, wooden furniture, exposed brick walls, and a pool table. The bar is equipped with no less than nine plasma screens broadcasting current sport games or replaying pictures of past events.

Sport enthusiast can follow the exploits of their favorite teams, and are kept satiated by a selection of hearty tasty finger food (chicken wings or nachos).

In addition, the bar opened a vast lower level dance floor, appropriately dubbed “the locker room”, where patrons can work out a sweat, dancing to the beats of Chelsea’s current crop of DJ’s (including Corey Craig, DeMarko!).

The pool table area is often the scene of intense, friendly competition, as the players rival in showcasing their dexterity at kicking balls.

This bar has quickly become the favorite hangouts of Chelsea's Butch Queens and their admirers. Members of New York's Gay sports leagues are regular at this bar and like to drop by for a drink after a long evening of practice, such as the Volley Ball team who's usually there on Wednesday evenings.
