Work

Legendary DJ Peter Rauhofer didn’t wait for his original house – the Roxy - to be torn down before building himself a new one. The veteran New York DJ didn’t miss a beat and quickly re-created the most successful underground gay dance party. First located at Stereo, “Work!” has been drawing the hottest crowd of party boys craving for some hard house beats.

Rendered homeless by the untimely demise of Stereo, Rauhofer and his tribe have been scouting the city’s dance venues in order to get back to Work! As soon as possible.

Just in time for Black Party weekend, the Work! Crew has settled for The Higline Ballroom, a brand new club and performance space located in Chelsea. The place will be packed with the usual Work! cuties along with the many out-of-town visitors getting their warm up for the Black Party. They will definitely be served at this new residency by the master of the house himself, Peter Rauhofer, throwing down his signature pumping house mixes, along with the rest of the Work! crew working their magic at the door, the lights and the bars. Come see for yourself why this part was awarded Best Weekly Party and Hottest Bartenders by the community website Edge.
