Alegria XTreme 8

Alegria X-Treme at Webster Hall with DJ Abel, Black Party weekend, New York City

Webster Hall was packed to the rafters with throngs of hot Chelsea boys, circuit boys, leather boys, homo-homeboys and all around party boys for the premier of Alegria held in this landmark East Village dance club.

Standing like a sinister mansion, the venerable building was perfectly suited to the darker mood of the event which was taking place on the heels of New York’s annual black party. Inside, Abel’s thunderous mix of hard pounding beats drove all these creatures of night into an irrepressible dancing mania until late Monday morning.

The Rumble Ball at Escuelita

Chase and the dancers from Hiro

The go-go boys dancing at the Cuckoo Club at Hiro

Every sunday nights at Hiro, Miss Honey Dijon plays a refreshing mix of electro, progressive and classic tunes which keeps the go-go boys bumping and shaking their sexy bodies all night long. These boys spare no effort to entertain the crowd, especially Chase - one of the hardest working boys in town - who brings out more energy than the Energizer Bunny.

Krash at Rebel

The kids from New York's ball community vogue on the dance floor of Krash

The house room at Krash is always quite the scene, as the kids from New York's ball community transform the dance floor into a runway where they engage in fierce voguing battles. Krash is definitely the palce to go to witness such impromptu congregations of voguers practicing their art. Tyra Allure, the host of the party, would often descend from the stage and split the crowd open, forming a runway for the kids to walk and prance.

After the Ball

DJ Manny Lehman plays at the Saint at Large's 2008 New Years Day party

The Saint at Large threw the first gay party ever held at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square. Veteran DJ Manny Lehman took the diverse crowd into an uplifting musical journey to celebrate the advent of the new year. In addition to the musical craftsmanship of the DJ, the revelers also enjoyed an overload of visual stimulations, thanks to the dazzling lighting effects and the giant screen on which was projected an extremely artful montage of video clips.

David Morales at Stereo

David Morales spins at Stereo club in New York for the Thanksgiving eve party

Peter Rauhofer invited house music legend David Morales to play for the boys at Work! at Stereo, on Thanksgiving eve. The maestro played an uplifting set, mixing new club anthems with underground classics. Tracks features in the video include: Janet Jackson "Pleasure Principle", Kristine W "Walk Away", Barabara Tucker "Love Vibration", Suzanne Palmer "Fascinated", Offer Nissim "On My own", Mariah Carey "Say Something", Beyonce "Deja Vu". The clip also showcases the gorgeous go-go boys of Stereo and the beautiful lights by Mitch Amtrak.

Junior Vasquez at Avalon

Junior Vasquez throwing down some fierce hard beats at his 2007 Halloween party at Avalon

This video captures Junior Vasquez working his black magic inside the legendary deconsecrated church for his following of die-hard house heads. Tracks featured include: Charlotte "Don't be afraid of the dark", Junior's "Be Quiet", Xpress II "MuzikXpress", HOG "Gotta dance disco", "Do It Properly" by 2 Puerto Ricans, a Black Man and a Dominican, Ke's "Strange World" riffs over Vicki Sue Robinson "Move On", Tim Rex "Relentless"

KMBA with Vivacious, the House of Ninja, Cordell Mcclary

Club performers, drag queen and house music artists showcase their talent at the Kiss My Black Ass p

The most colorful house music party in town, Kiss My Black Ass, becomes a weekly event on Sundays at Webster Hall. Quentin Harris and his team bring together the old and new-school of club kids, and the party hostess Vivacious spares no effort to keep the children entertained. The production value is worthy of a Madonna concert: throngs of back-up dancers keep coming on and off the stage, and Vivacious has more costume changes than we could count.

Ascension party in Fire Island with Brett Henrichsen

The end of Brett Henrichsen set at Ascension 2007 and some more dancing at Low Tea

The rain broke out on the beach of Fire Island just as Brett Henrichsen was wrapping up his set at the 2007 Ascension party. Yet the faithful revelers stayed out dancing and cheering until the last beat had been played, and then carried the vibe over to Low Tea for an evening of high-spirited fun and abandon...

The house kids voguing at Black Pride at Riis beach

Vogue dancers doing some runway moves to the beat of Cheryl Lynn's "Got to be real"

In a scene that could be taken straight out of "Paris Is Burning", New York's best vogue dancers are taking by storm the dance area of Jacob Riis park at the 2007 Black Gay Pride beach celebration.

These kids are turning it up New York style, bringing it with some pure old school runway moves to the tune of Cherryl Lynn timeless classic "Got To Be Real".

Watching these kids dance is another testament to the incredible talent and relentless creativity of New York's queer community.
